Conditions Of Entry

To qualify as an entrant you must be a Primary or Secondary school student living in the Tweed.   Please note: This does not mean Tweed Heads only; this competition is for the entire region and spans approximately 42 schools.
Your film must comply to the theme "Living & Loving The Tweed".   You can get help producing your film - a film is always a collaborative effort.   But you must list all participants and their role in the credits of your film.   For example: Director; Writer; Cinematographer; Editor; Original Music; Art Director; Sound Director; Actor/s; Other/s.
You should ask each participant (not including sponsors) to sign a talent release, that is, a document saying they consent to the terms and conditions agreed to by the Producer/s.   You must keep this document for your records.
Sandscripts: Tales on the Tweed is a not-for-profit community event -- cast and crew should participate in the spirit of the event but producing a talent release is a necessary part of any professional production and taking care of this business is a good exercise in skills development.
Please read through the home page bullet point information before beginning.
