21-Jun-2007 - Major Award Winners Celebrate at South Tweed Sports Club

This Thursday at 5.00p.m. the 20 students who made up the teams of the four overall winning films will celebrate their win with a buffet dinner and screening for invited guests at South Tweed Sports Club.
The students will be congratulated by judge Brian McDuffie from Pandion Films who has returned from his overseas trip.
The Tweed Shire Council's Cultural Services Advisor, Lesley Buckley, will also be in attendance. Lesley has been a great supporter of the Sandscripts initiative and is keen to assist in making this an annual event for students, residents and visitors to the Tweed.
We look forward to screening our winning films for Brian, Lesley and other VIP guests.
